Nice catch

Started around 8 pulling and pushing cranks, stayed until 130. Caught 9 crappie, a channel cat, and a drum. Don't have pictures because I dropped my phone and the camera lens shattered, but the crappie were some of the biggest I've ever caught, the smallest was 13 inches and the longest 15.5 inches but they were so thick that they looked like 3 pounders when I pulled them up lol. Every one of them was caught on a white 200 series bandit. I never did get on them real good but there's definitely some quality crappie in that lake

Wow! Great catch! Cross Lake is tough!!
I've heard so many people call it a 'dead sea', so I never bothered trying to fish it. Doesn't it require a boat sticker as well to launch there?
Yes you have to go get a sticker from the water patrol, their office is right by the public launch off of lakeshore drive. I didn't catch near as many as I do at cypress, but like I said earlier, every one of them were fat hawgs, i'm hoping to go back and try to figure out how to stay in them a little better

Nice to know another cranker. I love the white bandit.

Since I've been pulling cranks I've caught more fish on the white bandits than any other color I've used. Even on real overcast days or early in the morning and late in the afternoon when the sun is going down, and everyone says to be using a dark colored one, the white still catches better for me
