    Default More Verret Cats


    Made another trip to Verret. Planned to go after some sacalait but the pin in my trolling motor prop sheared on a stump at our first stop. Ended up staying there and catching a mess of catfish and a huge gu. Threw back a handful and missed what seemed like 100. Had a good time and put some more meat in the freezer. Name:  IMG_2066.jpg

    I love them. Grew up running trot lines across Old River with my dad and grandpa. I’d much rather catch them on rod n reel though.

    Thank you. Wouldn’t be the same if my little fishing buddy wasn’t with me every time. Going to be even better when my 5 year old starts going more. He’s not as patient so he decided to stay home the last few trips. My 7 year old could fish all day as long as we have food lol.
