Got the boat wet for the first time since April and figured I would try to remind myself what the thump felt like.
Fished the Lac itself between looking for isolated shade trees....I tend to fish the ones that the top fell out of hoping it’s laying down in the shade.
Caught 7 only kept 4 but a pair of them were good fish. Quit around 11:15.

Well look at who's back in the picture. Before reading your post I posted on LSUfan post about his Lake Verret trip asking where were you at. You have disappeared.
Glad to see you're still out there and that you were able to catch a few fish. I was hoping to make a trip this past week to the Lac but it didn't happen and It ain't gonna happen this coming week either. But believe me it's coming.
