That's good stuff right there Dad!!!

Great story and pictures. I was out in Bayou Amy also on Sunday but we stop fishing at 1 pm to make the way-in at the PHI toruney. We weren't lucky to catch enough fish to weight but we had a good time. It was my first time there. We launched at the free launch near Henderson and fished way down neat Catahula. The fish we caught were all caught against the bank but were small and all were males. Only one had the dark color of a near spawning fish. We only caught 4 and 2 small bass, nothing to brag about for sure except that we did catch something. I think I will be going back for another trip a little later.

We only fished for about 2 hours, but it was during the major feeding period. Caught 10-12 but most were small. We finished with 4 keeper sacs and 1 keeper bass. Launched at Catahoula and went north. They seemed to be right against the knees. Noticed it was real muddy right on the bank like there had been a lot of recent boat traffic. The tournament would explain that. But it was a beautiful afternoon.

Way to go Dad! Great job! Yes, sir, I would say that he was ready to graduate to a real sac-a-lait pole. Nice fish.
