the trolling motor on my boat has a overload switch that has to be Manually reset on the battery connection
Not knowing what type of TM you have, but check to see if it will run in the continuous mode. If it does then it may be your switch on your foot pedal. Also check the wires connecting to the momentary/continuous switch.

Thanks for all the comments. I pulled out the multimeter and checked the plug. Getting power at the plug outlet. Then I pulled the foot pedal apart. Continuous switch is getting the right ohm reading so I know it’s good. The micro switch however gave me different ohm readings a few hours apart, so hopefully the problem lies there. Gonna go ahead and replace that and the rotary switch and hope that fixes the problem.

Hopefully the trolling motor is a simple fix. But a “woods & waters”, venison & fish, meal sounds like a fine feast.

My switches came in yesterday and I changed them out last night. I am happy to say that I am back in business! Thanks for all the replies.
