    Default Bnm bob

I hate to share news like this but I just heard where one of our CDC brothers Bob Mitchum passed away last night. I don't have any details right now other than that.

Bob was a kind soul and a good man. I truly enjoyed our friendship which ironically enough was struck up while fishing poverty point about 10 yrs ago. He will be missed....

He was a kind soul and will be missed. He used to fish D'arbone a lot; he had a camp off Hwy 2. I hadn't seen him in a year or so; the last time was at the Honey Hole.

I met Bob a few times and he always was eager to share fishing info. He was one of the good 'uns.

There are two things to aim for in life: First, to get what you want; and after that, to enjoy it. Only the wisest of mankind achieves the second. Author unknown, but I like it!

I talked with him at the Honey Hole often.
I fish 7 days a week; some days for fish, everyday for men.
