Tal, how were you fishing the Roadrunners, spider rigging or pulling them behind the boat.

the green one was pushed out the front.....it was the top bait of a double jig rig...the blue shiner was the top bait above a crank bait pulled with 75? ft of line out the back.....most fish were caught on the hot grubs but as the air got warmer more fish bit the cranks....including the ONE that got away....a cat that was about 10 #.......thought for sure I was hung up....I was....hung up on a HUGE catfish....never saw a fish that big in person...........got off at the boat as I was trying to get the net....I'm going to have to name that fish and make it a mission to catch it........Hannibal....man I had fun that day!!!!

The last time I threw one, the fish that bit on it spooled my reel and is still swimming around with it in his mouth with 100 yards of 10 pound test tied to it. He didn't even know he was hooked.

Hannibal needs to watch out for all the jug lines in the lake. The last time I was there they must have had a hundred on the N bank unattended.
