    Default Saline update

Fished for three hours. Five to six foot deep in the boat channel. Kept 12 out of 16. Name: IMG_5372.jpg

Yep that's what I'm having for supper also except mine are coming out of the freezer. It's only taken 5 trips to 5 different lakes to catch 9 keepers, might be time to put up the trolling gear and switch back to spider rigging. You did good, keep it up.

Shoot Chip I was hoping to go back to trolling cranks next month. Don’t get me wrong I love fishing shiners and jigs too. Crank baits are my favorite.

Crankbaits aren't over by any means. As long as water temp and clarity hold up, you can troll up until November.
Only need three more years before I can think like a fish.

Your right. The water clarity, temperature, and oxygen level has gone. We need rain and cooler temps.

By no means over, I picked up a skunk when I came back from Crankfest and I cant seem to shake it. That's fishing.

Usually when that happens you need to make a drastic change. At the end of last summer, at least for me, it was ramping up to 2.0 mph. It was like turning on the switch. Or it could be changing your colors to something radical. It's worth a try.

Good catch. I opted for option B today and slept in instead of fishing
