Bayou chevreuil

Do any of you guys fish Bayou chevreuil better know as the tank battery off lake des allemands if so when is a good time to fish it

I have only been a handful of times but always came back with fish in the box. I’ve only fished in late winter thru the spring spawn and had better luck toward the back of the canals. Canals average 4-5 ft after the mouth where it is silted in a bit.

that area is usually good around this time of year, just be careful around the twists and turns on that bayou. the water is always a good stain color if you can find structure you'll find fish.
