    Default Big Burns Friday afternoon

Well my favorite marsh closes Sunday so I contacted my fishing partner and old classmate to see if he wanted to make an afternoon trip Friday. Well he was up for it so off we went. Black/Chrt. Was still the color of choice, slow reeled over the grass. That marsh has been great to me this year and didn't disappoint again!Name: 20180817_183858.jpeg

That's a great way to close it out. Is it Bundix time now?

Not yet but once it cools down, it will be. Time to chase shrimp and crabs now!

You had a great season on the Burns, I wish I could have done the same in out marsh but the water never got right. May I ask why the close it down?

ONE for the picture book! Good job fellas.
Marsh sacs, doesn’t get much better to me. All the conventional rules go out the window. Makes me wish someone would write a book for our people.

I believe it is to give it a small rest before duck season starts. This is the 1st year that I have fished past July in there. Its usually too hot and too grassy by this time.
