I responded to a thread earlier with this info and thought it would help others looking for a map of La waters. I been doing this with my cell phone and now have em with me in boat when fishing. The map pics are clear and can zoom in pics with cell phone while on water.home | Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries
from thread Hello everyone could use some help by sac a lait bug ( I responded) ---------> the La W & F site ( home | Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries) has a better map ---- go to site and click on outdoor explorer map tool -- zoom in to the Henderson swamp area (Lake Bigeaux). Did this on my laptop and took several pics (of laptop screen) with my cell phone (zoomed in close for several) and now have em on my cell ph and with me when fishing. AND the LWF site pic is when Henderson is at a low level which it is getting to now. There is a lot more land exposed than in the pics above.

also did it for the Bayou Benoit launch area ---- have maps in my phone for the area.
If I'm going to an area I never fished before the first thing I do I put map(s) of the area in my cell phone pics getting them from the LWF site.
Can also do this from Google Maps or any mapping site. OR just put the LWF site / outdoor explorer map tool on your phone.
Either way getting maps (satellite / aerial) view of any La waters should not be a problem. Also helps finding a launch in the fishing area.
Know this is probably old stuff but thought it might help newbies.
