    Default Darbonne Bayou

Put in at Joe Bobs yesterday. The ramp is fine to put in and take out. Rode up the bayou to Holland’s Bluff. Easy run and if you ever wanted to see how the channel goes through the S Curves now is the time for a boat ride. I fished but didn’t get a bite. Water is very muddy. Pics are kind of dark but it is neat to see what is under the water. Also had one of those carp jump in my boat while I was idling. Made me jump.Name: IMG_1558.jpg

I'm gonna make that trip soon. Those S curves have always been tricky. May mark some waypoints while I'm at it

I made that run a few days ago and the carp were pretty bad in some places.

If those asian carp make it to Lake D'arbonne, you will regret their existence. They will take over and destroy an awesome fishery. I pray they stay out!

Good post. Those invasive carp have the right letters just in the wrong order, they're should be spelled "crap". Sadly too many states have invasive species taking it's toll on our natural resources.
Pass the "Sportsman Baton" on before you're gone, promote values for others to hunt and fish upon.

I was surprised at how wide the bayou is through there. It sure is easy to get out of the channel when the water is at stage.

Tbone how far did you go up? I went to Holland’s Bluff and it was an easy run.
