It's amazing how much easier it is to pull cranks without the need to have a foot on the control at all times. Best upgrade I've done to my boat. I sure like cranking off the back much more than the front. I put a 60" shaft Ulterra on mine so when I'm in the back, the motor doesn't pop out of the water when I hit boat wakes or bigger waves. People tend to look at me like I'm an idiot when trolling in shallow water with three feet of motor shaft sticking up on the nose though. It does look pretty silly, but I spend more time in deeper water anyway. I get even when I see them getting in and out of their boat twice just to get it off the trailer and I just back mine into the lake, deploy, and spot lock it while I park.
