    Default Darbonne and Red

Went Saturday to Darbonne. Fished the lake till 1pm and caught 13 and a 3 lb cat. Fished 10 ft in 16 fow. Any color. Caught 9 before 8:30. Loaded up and went behind the spillway. Fished till 5:20. 2 small ones I throwed back. They caught them there early like on the lake. Mostly spider rigging and shiners, so I was out of there anyway on both counts.

Went to the Red Sunday. They've moved out and are on deep tops. Caught 3 in by cypress trees in 7 ft water. Caught 7 in 20-30 fow fishing 14 ft deep. Mostly electric chicken. Legal sunrise was 6:15 and I was at my spot at 6:18. LOL!

You really wanted to fish below the Dam - Son -- The Ouachita has fallen 8 feet from the Crest ,, Looks like it needs to fall several more for putting in below the dam

There was only 10 boats there then, but they say in the morning there's upwards of 50 there and people lined up on the spillway.

Nice mess on the lake. I don't know if I could have launched my boat below the spillway. Even your pictures brought back nightmares of a "launch gone wrong" that I thought I had suppressed. LOL. Maybe I will just go to the lake.

Wow Skipper, that water is really up! We could use some of that water in the marsh I fish!
