I wonder if gnats are attracted by CO2 and a thermocell would work on them

Amber romance. Seems that some gnats bite and some don't

    Deet does Not work
    Neither does a therma cell
    Vanilla does
There is a vanilla/ mint spray called Buggins that works good
I’ve never seen it in stores in the south.
I think it can be bought online

I did try Repel bug spray last Friday evening with 40% DEET. It not only didn't work, but I think it attracted them more. I got there just after noon and ended up leaving at 4pm strictly because of the gnats. The fish were still biting, but I couldn't stand it anymore.

Avon Bug Guard is the only thing I've found that really works.
