    still very high...the water is falling so the dead end canal water will be clearing 1st....

    Sorrel Locks gauge shows 9.5' and steady. Looks like up north its starting to fall so it shouldn't be long but I don't fish that side of the levee until that gauge shows <6' and falling.
    Hopefully the rain holds out this weekend. The river side there by the camp is dropping like a rock this week, finally.

    Like shawnlsu said when it gets 6 or 7 and is falling steady fish the run outs where the water is mixing.

    That's when I fish the basin . Sorrel lock gauge 6' and falling. My favorite around 4.8
