Looks like a good day on the water to me. Congratulations PawPaw Gene and Mrs. Linda!

Yeah I understand. I miss running into him every now and then. It's been slow, real slow for us for a while. The last two trips were good and I hope it continues all summer. If I can leave Linda home one day, you and I will try to hit them.

I caught 3 slabs like that and a couple others on a Roadrunner. It was great fun and Linda had another wonderful day of fishing. Ate some blackened slabs for dinner this evening.

Waterdog the water was nice, not too clear but no where near as muddy as many waters around here. We were deep in the marsh in a dead end canal where the water was being filtered in the marsh as it drained down into the canal.
