Everything I caught at Cypress in Benton yesterday were females, still full of eggs. Caught on edges of deep creeks,
fishing 10-13ft deep. Surface temp was 65-66. They aren't done here. Guessing next full moon.

Caught 2 black crappie females yesterday, both over a lb. , one barely had any eggs , the other had a lot left......crappie spawn in waves, different times, Almighty designed it that way for survival of species

Caught a few in Lake Martin yesterday. One female and she was dripping eggs when I got her to the boat. Usually Martin is a few weeks before the northern lakes, so I don’t think it’s over.

Pretty sure it's been done here(Pearl River) for at least two weeks. Would like to hear otherwise though.
High water as usual but should make for a good class. High point is catching em in backyard!

Always happens south of I10 first. There is still a lot of spawn left further north from my past experience. Not a crappie master though.
