I broke my Mothers "Veg O Matic" potato slicer earlier this year and found a Weston commercial french cutter with the suction cup feet on Amazon. That piece of plastic and S/S lasted 40 plus years, goes to show how the quality of the material and made in the USA lasted so long. I still remember that commercial from when I was a kid.

I will bring at least 4 cases of soft drinks again and ice.

Some friends of Ann's Lab Rescue group who will be staying in an RV at San Miguel will bring homemade macaroni and cheese on Friday night. Not sure yet on what they're bringing Saturday evening. I mentioned homemade hush puppies, but she doesn't do that - bummer.

Another group coming in from South Carolina in an RV, San Miguel booked solid. Ann is trying to find a place to park their camper. My boat is full both Friday and Saturday. See you there!

My New Orleans friends were asking what they should bring for the potluck Fri and Sat. I made a list of what you guys have posted and inventoried what we have left from last year. Looks like we need some plates, foil, paper towels, utensils. We have 4 disposable aluminum pans left and plenty of bowls.

Looking at the food list - We'll need some fish to fry Saturday. LOL

    Friday
RMGeorge – bake beans, chicken sauce piquant, rice cooker, (rice too?)
    Tracker123 – crawfish etouffee
Mo Slab – apple pie, blue bell vanilla ice cream, several gallons tea/lemonade
Fishfried – 4 cases of soft drinks and ice
    K&B – mac and cheese (N.O. Peeps)
ChuckTx & Bill – potato salad

    Saturday
Tracker123 – fried gator if someone brings fryer
    Mo Slab – Fry Daddy
RMGeorge – 6 gallon fryer, oil, Louisiana seasoned fish fry
Skippa Chippa – 10 lbs potatoes, ketchup, salt/pepper, and Tony’s
