    For those wondering about Shadow's post with pics of rainbows, here's a link to the LDWF page. They stocked about a dozen public ponds/lakes across the state with easy public access.

    Thanks George. I see my “link linking” skills are deficient.
    My Dad told me about that pond in Ragley being stocked with trout. I think it’s another case of our state throwing money away. I can’t see them being able to be self sustaining. I really can’t see them surviving a summer. BUT, the novelty is cool.

    They can survive, just not reproduce.
