    Anyone doing any good on these? Went last weekend and it was slow slow slow for me anyways.

    Go a lil further east n fish the tchefuncte. It's a hard pill to swallow but those areas are tough. They can be found n caught but you're gonna have to have help without spending a few seasons learning it yourself. Best I ever did was North of 22 bridge by the rope swing , about a mile up in a cut to the right where the river bends around it. Backwards water.

    Yea I been hitting it hard latley. Best was late January. Last couple weeks very few sac a lait. Alot of big perch. If anyone would like to fish the North shore area let me know. I usually go by myself.

    yea i try to get to them when i can but tangi is more accessible, i can be on the water in 10 min from leaving house. went sunday evening and caught one small sac and couple big blues. it was unusually slow..
