Here's a link to the Paradise Louisiana program that mentions the License proposal. Starts about the 25 minute mark.

IMO we need to stay educated and voice our opinions to our commissioners and legislative folks.

Thanks JR...For anyone not stopping to click on the link..Resident Basic Fishing increases $4, and basic hunting increases $5. Didn't see a change on resident saltwater. I didn't look at any others since those are the only ones I've ever used.

I don't mind paying a few bucks more to support a department that works to regulate and preserve wild natural resources.

Looks like us really old seniors gotta start paying....now that just don't seem right....mine has been free for the last 20 years since I was 60.....I don't mind paying though, that $6.75 is not gonna break me.....that's just one days shiner cost.....

    Default Bummer

Way to go Louisiana... Resident / Native Born / Retired Military / Resident Senior - $45.00.
I am all of the above and the proposed fee has risen from $0 to $45.
    Attack the seniors and veterans.
I think I'll move to Texas.
    That sucks!
