Hey guys, i had a few things i wanted to get opinions on. First, does anyone have a spike it color-c-lector? I'm thinking bout making the purchase and i don't really know if its worth it. Second, do any of you guys run an ipilot trolling motor? If so has it improved your trolling success. I bought mine mainly for control in the wind. Third, how big of a factor does jig head color play, and how do you guys make a choice? Also do any of you guys use accessories such as rattles, and or flashers? I've used rattles buy haven't noticed a difference really. Thanks for any and all input. Topics to discussTopics to discuss

I remember when the Color Selector came out in 80's.....I personally wouldn't waste my $......search old posts, pick some of top colors....I use both painted/plain jigheads.....if ur gonna troll mostly, yes, get ipilot or terrova

i use the colors i like best...when i happen to change colors and get bit...it's just luck......so....put any, and i mean any bait, in front of a feeding fish and you will get bit....but you have to be there to get it done...keep it simple.....works for me.....

I like to make it simple and just use 2-4 different colors and focus on small piece of water and use one 16th and 1/32 heads. I like pink, yellow , orange and plain.tails chartruce---chartreuse & orange, White and body red, black

Ok, I have used the color C-lector before, only b/c my dad picked it up for me at a garage sale for next to nothing, and it did work! Yes I was shocked too. Jlaughlin and I were fishing bundicks creek and weren't catching a lot and I dropped it in to see what it says, and it said green and orange and we switched and caught more fish on that color. As far as jig heads, I always fish colored with pink being my favorite followed by orange. Hope that helps some.
