Sounds like a great day, Pastor.
NO, I didn't fish today, but it looked like everyone else was fishing at Caney. I passed by there about 10:45 this morning on my way to West Monroe, where I had an appointment with my 10 year old grandson so that we could spend the afternoon together. My wife and I turned in on the road that goes down to the spillway and there were trucks and trailers parked out on the road before you ever get to the levee and the parking lot was completely filled up. It was so foggy out on the water that I couldn't see but one boat. Maybe there was a bass tourney going on there today. I didn't talk to anyone; didn't want to be late for my grandson.
We had a grand ole time. Ate dinner at Golden Corral, played arcade games at the arcade inside the theater, and watched Paddington 2. Just don't get much more better than that, in my humble opinion.

If you dont have time to do it right the first time, when are you going to find time time to fix it.
Hooks Marina had the the North Central LA Student Angler Federation bass tournament today with 78 teams.
It was a lot of bass boats on the lake. All headed in about 2 pm. I went out after rain in a really heavy fog. Weather man said it was a low cloud. Not sure what the difference is. Caught a few at dark. Nothing much today.
