I've talked to that guy before I guess he owns it, they are some real good folks.

They are out of Slidell and ran the Dockside Marina there. They gotten out of the marina business and have expanded their "Matrix" business and based on what I've done with the matrix shad on specs as well as countless others, I can see why they need to devote more time to this line of plastics. And yes, very nice and helpful. SLIP

Actually SLIP that is a Matrix-Mini.
haha I love their bigger plastics for saltwater and had to give these mini ones a try.
I have not tried the loop knot yet but have been looking for a better knot to tie my jigs so ill have to look it up, i generally put a little dab of glue in the eye to keep it straight and then some on the front of the plastic to keep it from sliding down.

Its a great knot and very easy to tie. Just pass line thru eye and pull enough to be able to make a loop by holding both lines and pass the jig thru the loop and holding both lines, tighten so the loop knot ends up close to the eye. Try it and you will see that when tightened it is very strong and the jig will "hang loose". Simple but very strong.
I've seen many more complicated loop knots that aren't needed here.
