When I hear discussions of water temps I always wonder "what depth". It varies from surface to bottom.
For you that fish Henderson on the spawn, I find that the Little Alabama gauge mocks the water temperatures in Henderson.

In the winter and early spring (spawning time) the water temperature in Henderson usually does not vary that much from the surface to the bottom. The surface temperature is usually near the dewpoint. The water gauges report the surface temperature.
