Default Red River Coushatta, La. 8/19/2017

Duckcomando and I hit the river before daylight and fished till 12. We were in 14 FOW fishing 8 FD. We used Popsicle, Lights Out, & Shiners. I got to try out Mommas Cane Pole which I modified for her. It produced well. I took safety pins and cut them and bent them, placed them on pole at 1 foot increments, wrapped with braid, then put some Loc-tite epoxy on them to make them strong and look nice. Installed her a little reel with some braid, #2 hook, and a slip cork. Hey, she catches fish!!!

Congratulations Brother Maxwell and Duckcommando. Looks like a mess of fish to me. Mama's cane pole is sweet! You did a good job on that thing.

Wal-Mart. It's a sink stopper with the handle pulled off. I'll send you a pic here.

I had peanut butter lids on there but they are plastic and break. Plus they wood hold water that came off the fish when you pulled them in. I was washing dishes one night and went to drain the sink and pulled the handle out of the stopper. When I got it out my brain went into overdrive. Stainless Steel, Hole's already in it to shed water, hmmm, make a great Nibbler Holder. There you have it.
