Thread: Gotta love deer season

Everybody I knew was headed to the deer woods this weekend to put out corn and work on stands. Hit darbonne lake by myself and was pleasantly surprised that there wasn't much wind. Ended up with 25 on same pattern I been catching on. Fishing 10-12 fow 9 fd on live minnow, bluegrass, and blue shad. Started at 8 and had 16 by 9:30. Bite slowed after that but still picked up one here and there. All that rain we got cooled water temp to 83 and the lake was up about a foot. There was very few people on the lake. Bring on deer season!!
