Or so you would think by looking at them. I actually caught them in Orange Grove this afternoon. As JR would say, "conditions were perfect, water lightly stained, wind light but cooling, cloud cover kept the sun at bay for most of the afternoon. It was a great day all except Linda didn't catch a one, not even a bluegill.
The bite was lite, very lite, like small fish nibbling. They were hard to hook. I had to keep moving the jig up and down about 6 inches and hoping I would catch one inhaling the jig as I lifted it. That is the only way I caught them. Caught them all on a BG Glo shad blue color about 4 foot deep.
A fun afternoon for sure,

Four golden slabs and one shorty that got fouled hooked and one goggle eye.
Golden fillets.
Location of fish.
location with no fish.
Linda got hot so I took a wave to cool her off.

is that deep fried Brocolli
Yes it is Larry. Mixed it in the corn flour and dropped it in the pan. Very good if you like broccoli.
