    Default A Little Therapy

Well with the sad news of SneakyPete passing away, I decided I needed a little one on one therapy time with the good Lord so I made a trip to my favorite marsh - The burns. Always wanted to bring Pete out there and let him fly fish for some bass but it wasn't to be. Well here are a few pictures of my therapy time. I don't drink much but this one seemed ok to start the trip off.

I think ole Pete was watching over me because he sent me not one but two of these trashy fish! Seems like something he would do!

But the day did finish off with a beautiful sunset and even allowed me to catch enough for supper.

Those are the 2 that I was talking about on your post. I kept them in the boat until I got back to the landing. I called my niece's husband to see if he wanted them, he loves gar fish, no answer so I left a message. Called my niece and she didn't answer so after about 10 minutes at the dock, I turned them loose there. One of them had been out of the water for over an hour but when he hit the water, he shot out of there like an arrow! If I would have had more time, I would have probably kept them and cleaned them as it is good meat.

Yes indeed PawPaw! There was a guy at work that wanted to go with me but this was one trip that I definitely needed to be alone!
