Any day of fishing beats a great day at work. This heat been killing us so much at work I haven't even wanted to go fishing. But I'd sure like to feel that thump

We started the trip with a rain delay for about an hour. On the road by 7 and fishing by 8. We road around looking for moving and mixing. There was plenty of moving water and it was all very clear. Tried one spot and caught one keeper bass. Moved to another where I landed a very nice one and loss his twin when it tangled on a piece of structure and I could not get him over it. Also caught 2 whole fryers which means we accomplished what we went out for, supper. It got hot fast so we shut it down at 10:30. I only took one picture out on the water.

Sounds like a good trip to me PPG! I'm dying to do some fishing. Been cooped up with 7-month old and yard work is piling up. When i do get after them, they better watch out!
Hey Cal, life does have a way of getting in the way of fishing sometimes. Linda and I fished often for a few year after marrying. Even after we started with having children we still fished often. Then at some point things changed. I remember when I spent around 10 years without a boat and had to concentrate on working and raising a family. That was tough on me but I made the sacrifice and made it through that phase of life. Good luck to you and don't give up.
