    Default Gold Rush

Back to da Lac for more.

Hit the road early. Made it to the launch half pass six. Lot of trailers already there. Good Sign.:big grin

Conditions? Perfect. Water moving out. Level about the same as I left it last week. light wind. Nice blue sky with a few high clouds. WWL weather man says it gonna be hot. Got plenty H2O on ice.

#1 and 2 spots already taken. That's OK only bait chunk ers. I'll hit em on the way back.

All fish caught tight lined red, green, and chart tube. Lots of perch.

Wonderful box shot! Me and the little one will be out there tomorrow morning. It will be our first trip after his surgery, the doc released him to fish! He is so excited, he has been driving me nuts about when we get to go fish and videos of fishing. Hope we find some...

Nice box full of fish, beautiful body of water.
If you dont have time to do it right the first time, when are you going to find time time to fix it.

Nice catch JR. That place looks wide open. I don't see any cypress trees or laydowns to fish, I'd be lost.... Gold Rush

    Hey 20,

My oldest son and I hit that lake probably 30 years ago for the first time. I had heard stories from the old timers at work about da fishing there. Took a little while to learn it, never had anyone show me. I did learn it's full of fish that will bite year round.

Da lake is lined with cypress and willows. A few old oil field canals too. Da best thing about it is rain just makes the bite mo better. Moving water. :big grin

By the way that's a sunken log at the end of the green trout tail.
