    Default Shrimp, Oysters and Crawfish

    Shrimp, Oysters and Crawfish

I'm wanting to make a run to the coast to pick up some shrimp straight off the boat, some oysters and then pick up some crawfish on the way back. My question is for those who do this sort of thing. I hear you can get em a lot cheaper doing it like that than going to the supermarket and getting them. So where do I start, do I need connections at the dock or can I just go pick em up. Where do I need to go?

You can try blue water seafood in dulac . There is a shrimp house or two down in montegut also that sells crabs by the pound . Usually nice crabs for cheap . I don't remember the names of the places but if you stop and ask someone will point you in the right direction .

    I'd call first.

Brown shrimp season is open now. Which is good for fresh as in never frozen.

In Grand Isle Fresh Seafood - Grand Isle

In Slidell Slidell Seafood Market & Restaurant

In Baton Rouge for crawfish Live Louisiana Seafood Sales | Tony's Seafood & Deli in Baton Rouge

I have found the best prices for crawfish at https://www.facebook.com/Michaels-Se...0782304266633/ in Hammond La.

IMO It's Hard to buy crawfish at the dock. Unless you know someone.
