    Just wanted to give a friendly hello. I'm new to the site and fairly new to crappie/ white perch fishing "4 years". Hope to glean some knowledge and share some stories!

    Thanks, I live near Lake Charles. So I have to drive a little ways to find some decent crappie fishing. I do saltwater fish too, but the taste of those white fillets are hard to beat.

    Welcome to the board from Shreveport! You may not be next door to a lot of crappie spots, but you're sure on top of shrimping which is a pretty fair trade sometimes.
