    Default 5/7 Des Allemands trip

I was a set to have both my boys on the boat with me, but then life happens my oldest baby sitter backs out.... so it's me and the little one at it again... this time we got up early and had a nice chilled boat ride... went down the first cut and knew there was trouble Black water, I think I heard it's not good for fishing,I hope someone can tell me why? went to the 2 deep structures I have marked and side scan showed nada, and the 15 mins wasted proved nada... went to second and third was the same, 4th spot bam Caden lands 14" fattie and then nada.... don't understand that.... and then we try this dock fished all around and missed 1, about to move on and said okay Caden watch this let's me see how much trouble I can get in, I'm going to pitch under the dock, over that timber??? I don't think the cork stopped!!! Yanked 12 out of there.. and let me say I was a proud dad watching my 8 year old pitching and yanking the Sacs from out of there. We had about 10 missed bits and lost none. So we ended the day with 13 Sacalait, 1 bass and 1 bull bream....

Great job, dad. If more fathers spent time with their kids like that, our country would be much better off. Congratulations on the catch!
