Thread: LARTO REPORT

Well it's certainly been a while but we finally took our grandchildren and my best friend whose 40 year old son passed away a few weeks prior, to "the Camp". My kids have been counting on spending the week they got out of school for spring break for several months. Had a wonderful time! My 16 year old granddaughter and my best friend spent half a day with Tony Jacobs and he taught them (loosely speaking to do some "spider rigging". Although they missed as many as they caught and Tony had his work cut out for him.... they brought home 69! They were thrilled. My two 13 year old grandchildren also spent half a day doing the same. The competition was fierce but the younger ones lost 😂 They brought home 39. It was a new way to fish for all of them but it was a great experience. My 13 year old granddaughter has fished since she could walk and LOVES any kind of fishing and truthfully can out fish a lot of grown people I know. The remainder of the week we all fished and had lots of fun . The kids stayed on the deck fishing every night till 9:00. Bugs didn't phase them. Ha. Have any of y'all been catching ? Hopefully so! Hope to be back in the water next week. WOuld love to hear some reports).

How much water did LARTO get? We had almost 10 inches in Kinder. The most I have ever seen on my property. Kids were happy because it closed the school for a day and a half ha. How is the fishing going?
