Just read in the paper about the high school state championship tournament at the San Miguel campground while we were there. Boats were launching all morning, I believe Marty said 158 boats launched. George attended and took great pictures.
Two local boys won it - Brennen Leger and Caleb Clark of St. Thomas Moore weighed in a 20.67 pound five bass limit - they topped the stringer with a 7.71 pounder to win it all. Congrats to those boys on the most beautiful lake in the South.

Also found out next year's state tournament will be less boats, and will be held at Doiron's Landing in Stephensville.......Toledo again following year

Looks like 2nd weekend in May is Mother's Day weekend, so it'll have to be 3rd weekend......fish will be on brushpiles then
