Default Never Heard Of This Before.....

Last trip loading up to come home I noticed I had a seal leaking on the trailer....I have the "vault" system which is almost zero maintenance (just watch for leaks).....I was surprised because the entire hub was replaced around 8 months ago.....anyway, took it in to Mike Geralds in BR....turns out I had picked up a piece of monofilament line and it had wrapped around the hub and damaged the seal....so, not the fault of the seal....I have had line wrap around the prop of my motor and trolling motor but never saw this before....

Reminded me of a story I heard about 2 young bass tournament fishermen....one morning before daylight they were sitting in their boat at the launch (at Henderson) and respooling their reels for the tournament and throwing the old line in the water....what they did not know was a GW was on the bank watching this go on....the GW casually walked down and wrote them up for the violation....I understand this was going to cost them around $1000 each....I love it...that GW is my kind of guy....half of my launch time is spent picking up other folks trash....

Don't you know Bruce, I keep a milk carton in the back of my truck for such things. Thanks.

I throw all of my used string in my ice chest. I figure I will have to clean it out when I get home anyway, just as easy to throw it in the trash at home. Can't stand litterbugs!

All my trash gets put in under the seat in a storage bin. But some makes it in to the fuel/ battery compartment. I recently cleaned everything out of my boat to bring to a mechanic, lol. Took an hour just to get the line and plastics floating around in there. Probably should get a little trash sack to put inder the dash.
