I'm here now
That's what it looks like. Hopefully it doesn't change again. I'm going fishing in Grand Isle that weekend so this might work out good for me. 3 days of fishing for me

I did a drive by Old River Landing on Sunday evening that is some of the prettiest water I'v seen in a long time. Nice and clear if I didn't know better I would have thought it was salt water in the marsh. One of the locals at the dock said that the fish were biting but deep, I might make a night trip and try my green lights during the week if the rain takes a break.

Still waiting to see how this pans out!
Looks like after 7/21, the river will continue to fall.......
Do y'all want to do this?........or, wait until water has fallen out of trees, enhancing houseboat/open water bite?
comments welcomed.....

It doesn't really matter to me. If we want to make it easier to find the fish, waiting til the level is below 20 ft and falling might be the thing to do but I've heard of a few good reports recently. If the level is around 25 ft on the 21st the fish might be by the piers and some rafts closer to the tree lines. 20-25 ft is kinda the gray area that I've never had much luck finding them but know of others that have.
