Thread: Saline Larto 3/22

Fished the bayous today but only caught 8 small ones and 2 small bass. No particular pattern cause some were around trees and some in 10 FOW. Talked to several people and no one was doing any good (or at least admitting to it). Went up Long Branch and Denny's Drain and saw all the salvinia. It's all over the Shad Lake area. But last year I couldn't even go into Denny's Drain because it was completely clogged with the stuff. Today it was open all the way.

Yes it was tough yesterday. A friend of mine, who is a guide, only managed 5 keepers. I trolled crankbaits out in the lake and kept 10 + 1 catfish. There were plenty of boats beating the banks.
