Drove to LOP sat. 2/18/17 it was a 3 hour drive for my buddy and me left at 3am arrived at 6am fished hard all day some shallow some deep ended the day with a grand total of 5 crappie maybe the 100 or so bass boats fishing a tournament had something to do with it. Think I'll do a little more homework next time.

Hey Bluzchevy, before you run 3 hours, next time you head to LOP call Herigans 3-Way at 903-665-7282. They are friendly folks and may save you some windshield time. They sell bait too. I really like that lake and normally whack em in the winter. Have never fished it during spawn, but plan on it this year. I'll post when I go.
