Up early and so was Linda which is unusual, so I asked I she wanted to go fishing. The answer was "why yes", that's why I got up early. So we got to leave the house a little before first light. I headed to one of my favorite spots but the winds and tide had filled it with lilies, scratch. We then headed to another spot and ran the bank for a hundred yards with no action. Moved again a little ways and found some fish willing to join us for dinner. We caught 9 very nice slabs and 6 nice chinks. On the way out we stopped and ran the bank we had earlier and still nothing. On the way out we met Armand's uncle who had come in behind us and were pounding the same bank. In the 15 minutes they had fished they had around 10 sacs. I watched them fish while we chatted and found them to be doing the same thing we were doing. Beats me, maybe they just turned on, or who knows. We had all we wanted and didn't stop to check it out. The females were full of egg and the males were dark. The water temp was 72.1 around 2 PM.

Some of those fish will become tacos to see what all the fuss is about.

The pile of fillets at the top are the chinks, I almost forgot to take a picture.
