Those are some really nice words, you two, but they have blown my head up so big that none of my hats will fit anymore!
Seriously, it was a pleasure to meet and chat with Mermentau. And it is a blessing that I was able to do that - six months ago I and everyone around me had doubts I'd still be here. But prayers, good medical support, a good wife, and the blessing of the Good Lord kept me going. Feeling much better now, re-gaining some weight, and determined to fish at every opportunity! It's not in remittance, but it's in control, and I can surely live with that!

Had the opportunity to fish with Pete at one of our favorite ponds back in the fall. Was glad to see him back in action. Knowing he's improving should scare the fishies!
