    Default Warm days, muddy water?

I'm getting anxious to get on the water, but all of the rain has muddied up every place I want to go. The next few days are supposed to be warm, but windy... But, I'm gonna lose my mind if I don't go... Got any tips for a newbie on how to handle all of this?

I'm waiting for this as I don't have the answer to it...JR taps the fish on the nose with his jigs...seems to work for him.....I'm looking for better water myself.....

Sometimes the water is only muddy on top and still fairly clear underneath. I would start the same way you normally fish and then if that doesn't work, I would try some other techniques. Maybe try switching up the colors you use as different colors appear differently to fish in muddy water as opposed to clear water. Just my opinion though. One thing is for sure though, if you don't go, you won't know! Good luck and I hope you catch a mess of them!

Bright orange in muddy water, will most of the time double or triple what you have been catching, fishing the same way you've been fishing. This is a big secret, so don't tell anyone! LOL!

Not an expert but the water here is almost always muddy. If it's not muddy, then it's usually too low and have to fish deeper tops.
I like to use a jig that has high contrast between body and tail, bigger profile jigs and yes, tap them on the nose. I get lucky on occasion but hate muddy muddy water.....usually means current also.
