Default Poverty point on christmas eve

A little late to post but went to Poverty Point Christmas Eve morning and went home with 9 and threw back some smaller ones. The wind was pretty rough so I only fished from daylight until about 10:00. Caught them in 18-24 ft of water and almost all were caught on a bobby garland jig in dragonfly color. Name: IMG_1213.jpg

I haven't tried PP lately but have heard it's sort of hit or miss.

Thanks for the report. I don't have any dragonfly yet. I haven't bought a plastic bait in over a year....

20Watt those hand tied jigs you make look so good I dont blame you for not buying any plastic bait. Iv been considering trying some different hair jigs as its something iv never used much.

Thanks. They catch enough fish for me. I will admit it's hard to beat a bobby garland plastic especially when they're deep at poverty.
