    Default chicken coop


    Toledo bend chicken coop for anyone who dont know. I did here the water temp was 55 and if it drops to 50 or below thats when things get going at the coop area anyone close to Toledo bend have any info on this?

    Robert, that is correct information. It needs to get to 50 degrees and stay there for a little while WITHOUT RAIN! It has been a few years since all the conditions where right there. Either not cold enough, long enough or too much rain.

    George - Unless it gets cold AND stays cold through February, the coop will be done by the time we have our gathering there.

    I haven't fished there since 1980, but I'm planning to go this year if it gets right. I will be following this thread for more info. The event sounds great too, but I may have a timing issue...

    Water temps yesterday were 63.
