Thanks for the report. Sounds like you did well! I wonder how the rain we had will affect them?
Hit the water at daylight. Spider rigging with shiners. Action was hot and heavy first couple of hours, really slowed down around lunch. Left a bit after 1200. Ended up keeping 30 filet size fish. Probably threw back 20 or so small fellas. Best depth was 17 feet for me. Fishing right near bottom in front of parks road launch. Good luck out there

Thanks for the report. I've been to Cypress drifting several times in the last six weeks or so. I think 20 keepers is the best we've done using the same pattern you mentioned. I'm going in the morning 12/6, We won't be out there until 8:00 or so. I hope all this rain don'y mess them up. I've done good out there after a rain and been skunked too.

Only fished today from 9 to 1. Managed to catch 15 nice filet keepers. most were caught about half way between the launch and the dam. 16-17 fow close to the levy.

Do you have any pictures of the slabs you caught? That's the same place that I launch. It's a little store at the corner of Parks Rd.
Thanks for the report. You make me miss one of my favorite lakes, but I like to see and hear about others catching fish there. Congratulations!
