    Default New Rule.....

New rule for me that is....Wife and I been eating pretty good lately on the sacs and bass....so, I have imposed a new rule on myself...I am going to throw back all 10" and under sacs...figure that might make me fish harder...and longer...LOL....

this is a pic of the fillets from the 4 I kept last Wednesday (11/23) at Henderson....must have caught around 10 fish total... bass included....going back tomorrow (11/27)....I certainly do not expect to come close to Andrews catches....but I do have fun...

Well, Mr. Bruce, there aren't many people who can consistently catch fish like Josh because we just don't live on the fishery he lives on, but the rest of us have fun anyway. Congratulations on a mess.

I will have to admit though, it was a whole lot of fun last Thursday when I was able to catch a bunch. LOL.

Self-imposed rules are good. Mine is keep 9"+ sacs and throw back all else including bass.

I don't normally measure, but my rule is the body has to be bigger than my hand. Sometimes it's tough, cuase I don't have Burger King hands.

I do the same Bruce, as well as keeping less than ten (10). I always have fish in the freezer, so call it good normally after catching six or seven. Just me I guess.

Same rule for myself as well, as long as the fish are not hooked to deep or in the gills. I measured and marked 10 inch line on my rod holder, very quick check on the way to the live well or back in the water.
If you dont have time to do it right the first time, when are you going to find time time to fix it.

I do the same but I keep bass too! I try to keep 10 and up but if it is a tough day, I keep 9 and up besides my FIL loves whole fryers so the 9"ers work good for that.
