Larto food thread

Well guys/gals, First off I would like to wish each and every one of you a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! Before you know it, the Larto gathering will be here so I figured we better make a few plans on what to eat! I will start it off.....Friday will be a pot luck with people bringing whatever they would like and Saturday will be the fish fry.
Friday - I will bring either some pulled pork or a gumbo.
Saturday - I will try to bring a dessert of some kind.

If one of our moderators would be so kind as to make this a sticky, I would be grateful!

I got rum cakes for what everday we want and i have a heavy duty potato cutter for frys i can bring with potatoes. to fry with fish. ill also keep up with post and see what else may be needed. i cant wait i hope we do a little better on the fish than last year. I know the wind hurt us a few days

I will bring the fryer, fryer mix and oil for sure. And will decide what else later on.

Yes, this is open to anyone and everyone. We will be fishing the last Friday and Saturday of January on Lake Larto, which is just a few miles out of Jonesville. There will be a pot luck supper on Friday night and a fish fry on Saturday night. The event will be held out of Uncle Bud's Campground. If you need more details I would suggest you get ahold of Shadow, who is sort of spearheading the event. Hope to see you there. You will have a blast.

We still need some paper plates, bowls and utensils, ketchup & paper towels, drinks, etc. If someone is looking for suggestions.

Dwayne and I are making a practice run to LARTO for a day trip this coming Monday.
Not sure where we will put down yet but if anyone is out there look for us.
We will be the boat with the guy in front taking his line out the trolling motor!!
