Default Ever wish there was just one more Stickey ?

Last night I went to several State Boards but mainly the Main Forum -- I was on a mission !!!! There are dozens of Knots used to tie on a hook - or two lines of different sizes ,,, or snelled hooks... with some of these Newer lines like Nano-Fill the lines are so slick the hook will pull off, or worse just untie itself while you watch with frozen fingers. some drawings are almost hard to follow then the last part where the line is inserted to secure unclear where it could be in a dozen ways, and half the knot comes untied!!!! I even got so far in the forum I was looking at the names of all the Members Currently on line.. There I was the first name on the list ---- been there longer than anyone else.... If someone can post something with good knots for those slick lines I will Copy it and make wallpaper to plaster every surface it might come in handy Thanks

I find the slick lines tend to hold much better if you double them before tying one of your favorite knots.

Oh boy !!!! There is hope, I get to show the Grand Daughter how to tie the hook on...instead of the hook having to be retied. I can show her of all the wisdom out there when asking for help.

Hopefully it serves you well. Had to go in search of myself when I started using braid and picking fights with snook and Bull Reds and kept having my knots slip.

    Hey FOL,

Good luck on the knots. I've stayed with mono. That way I don't have to learn anything new.

Larry, the Palomar knot is easy to tie and very strong. It's easy to tie with cold and shaking fingers. Check out the video on how to tie it.
